Ukraine reports one KIA, five WIAs amid seven enemy attacks in Donbas on March 3
Russia's hybrid military forces on March 3 mounted seven attacks on Ukrainian Army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as killed in action (KIA) and another five as wounded in action (WIA).
"The armed forces of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire seven times on March 3. One Ukrainian soldier was killed and another five were wounded as a result of enemy shelling," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation Headquarters said in an update posted on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on March 4.
The enemy engaged Ukrainian troops with proscribed 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and automatic rifles.
Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the villages of Shyrokyne, Lebedynske, Zaitseve, and Luhanske.
The enemy did not attack Ukrainian positions from 00:00 to 07:00 Kyiv time on March 4.
