Russia's hybrid military forces on April 1 mounted 15 attacks on Ukrainian Army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with three Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded in action.

"The Russian Federation's armed forces violated the ceasefire 15 times on April 1. Three Ukrainian soldiers were wounded as a result of enemy shelling," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation Headquarters said in an update posted on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on April 2.

The enemy opened fire, employing proscribed 152mm and 122mm artillery systems, 120mm and 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms.

Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the towns of Maryinka and Krasnohorivka, and the villages of Novotoshkivske, Khutir Vilny, Novo-Oleksandrivka, Orikhove, Pavlopil, Pisky, Novomykhailivka, and Mykolaivka.

According to intelligence data, on April 1, one Russian occupier was killed and another three were wounded.

The enemy did not attack Ukrainian positions from 00:00 to 07:00 Kyiv time on April 2.
