ATO Staff: Militants attack Ukrainian army more than 180 times over last four days

Russia-backed militants continue to fire banned mortars, guns and howitzers on the positions of the Ukrainian armed forces, the press officer of the Anti-Terrorist Operation Dmytro Hutsuliak said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

"Over the last four days, the pro-Russian gangs fired more than 180 times on the positions of Ukrainian troops along the demarcation line," he said.

According to Hutsuliak, despite Tuesday meeting of the Tripartite Liaison Group, the militants continue to violate the Minsk ceasefire agreement, using 120mm mortars, 152mm guns and 122mm howitzers.
