Four civilians killed from militants artillery fire in Donetsk region in one day
Four civilians were killed and as many more wounded, including a child, as a result of the militants’ artillery fire in Donetsk region in the past 24 hours, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Interior Ministry in Donetsk region said on Sunday.
"Militants launched fire at Avdiyivka, Maryinka, Krasnogorivka, villages of Opytne, Pisky, Verkhniotoretske, Vodiane of Yasynovatsky district, Novgorodske of Dzerzhynsk district. Eight civilians were reported injured, among them four dead and four wounded, including a girl born in 2006," according to the press service.
Information about the victims is being verified.
Criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 3 of Article 258 (Terrorist act), Part 1 of Article 115 (Premeditated murder) and Part 2 of Article 15, Part 1 of Article 115 (Attempt to premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
