“Militants attacked almost around the clock,” presidential administration spokesman for the Anti-Terrorist Operation Colonel Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Saturday, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"Most attacks were recorded near the Donetsk airport and close to Maryinka. The militants used 122mm artillery, tanks, rocket launchers and small arms there. In the direction of Luhansk, relative lull has been observed. However, the militants opened harassing fire using grenade launchers near the villages of Stanytsya Luhanska, Sokolnyky, Schastya, Popasna and Zolote," said Lysenko.
He added that the fighting resumed in the direction of Mariupol, where the Russian proxies have been firing heavy artillery. Militants fired on the positions of Ukrainian forces tank shells, 120mm mortars and 122mm howitzers.near Starohnativka and Bohdanivka.
Also in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions five enemy reconnaissance drones were spotted.
