ATO headquarters: ceasefire violated 2 times today
The combined Russian-separatist forces violated the truce in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, two times on September 11 since 06:00 and up to 18:00 the Kyiv time, according to the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO).
"From 12:35 to 13:02 militants were firing rocket-propelled grenades and small arms on our fortified position south of the town of Avdiyivka. One Ukrainian soldier was injured," the report says.
"At 17:20 the pro-Russian terrorists shelled the village of Opytne from the direction of Spartak using heavy machine guns and rocket-propelled grenade," according to the report.
It is noted that despite a fragile truce in the conflict zone, work to rebuild collapsing infrastructure in Donbas is under way.
"With the support of civil-military cooperation units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with the utility services, work was started to repair bridges in settlements Krasnohorivka and Soledar. In addition, restoration of power lines in towns Zaitseve and Maiorske continues. In addition, our soldiers together with volunteer organizations are rebuilding schools in Luhanske and Svitlodar that were badly damaged due to shelling as early as the beginning of this year. Also in Luhanske the process of demining of the grain depot is carried on," according to the press center.
