LPR withdraws light weapons, DPR to wait until October 18
The militants of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) terrorist organization claim that they will begin to withdraw small-caliber weapons from the Donbas conflict zone after October 18, according to Eduard Basurin, one of the DPR leaders.
"The withdrawal will take place after October 18, if it is quiet. The time should be established by the OSCE mission, which is the guarantor. It is the OSCE mission who says, whether there is peace or not. The process will start after the OSCE's statement and 48 hours after it," Basurin said.
Earlier, the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic terrorist organization announced the withdrawal of tanks from the demarcation line.
"A column of military vehicles has just begun moving to a new home station, which is located no less than 15 km away from the demarcation line," the report says.
