Ukraine completes first stage of weapon pullback near Donetsk
The Ukrainian troops have completed the first stage of the withdrawal of military hardware and weapons from the demarcation line in the Donetsk sector, presidential administration spokesman for the Anti-Terrorist Operation Colonel Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Saturday, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"The Ukrainian military have completed the first stage of the withdrawal of military equipment and arms in the Donetsk area," he said.
According to Lysenko, the Ukrainian army has withdrawn tanks from the demarcation line to certain areas of concentration over the last day.
"In case of violation of the Minsk agreements by the illegal armed groups, our soldiers are ready to come back, take their positions and give a fitting rebuff to the enemy," Lysenko said.
