Ukrainian military repel militant attack near Zaitseve
The combined Russian-separatist forces continued their attacks on Ukrainian army positions in all sectors overnight, the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.
The militants fired rocket-propelled grenades, heavy machine guns and small arms on the town of Avdiyivka, as well as the villages of Pisky, Novhorodske and Novoselivka. They also fired 82mm mortars on the town of Krasnohorivka.
In the Artemivsk sector, the mercenaries fired the same types of weapons on the villages of Mayorsk, Zaitseve, Kirove and Luhanske. They fired 82mm mortars on Leninske and Luhanske.

At about 18:00 on December 7, a military clash took place near Zaitseve. A group of militants of up to 10 people tried to attack our fortified position, but received an adequate response and traditionally had to retreat.
