From 18:00 local time on Sunday to midnight on Monday, militants used weapons 13 times to shell Ukrainian troops, the ATO press center wrote on Facebook.
In particular, the enemy used large-caliber machine-guns and grenade launchers to directly shell Ukrainian positions in the village of Shyrokyne, near the Ukrainian-controlled strategic port city of Mariupol.
Militants used small arms along the contact line between the occupied city of Donetsk and the occupied town of Horlivka in Donetsk region. In particular, a Ukrainian fortified post located to the east of the village of Novoselivka was under sniper fire.
Later a small group of enemy fighters attempted to attack Ukrainian troops near the village of Novoselivka Druha. After a half-an-hour fight, the enemy retreated with possible casualties, the ATO press center said.
In addition, several times on Sunday evening Russian-backed gangs opened unaimed fire on Ukrainian positions near the villages of Pisky [close to the ruined Donetsk airport], Novhorodske, Troyitske and the town of Avdiyivka from small arms, rocket-propelled grenade launchers and heavy machine guns.
No cases of the violation of the full ceasefire in Donbas by the combined Russian-separatist troops were registered after the midnight.
