Militants continue provocations amid "holiday ceasefire" in Donbas
The Russian-backed militants have repeatedly provoked the Ukrainian troops in the Donbas conflict area in the past 24 hours, trying to make them return fire, according to the ATO press center.
The militants fired from heavy machine guns in the direction of the Ukrainian positions on the border between Donetsk and Luhansk regions, near Myronovske and Troitske. The Russian proxies also fired small arms in the direction of Luhanske.
In addition, the enemy shot from small arms at the ATO outposts near Kamenka outside the militant stronghold of Donetsk. The militants used heavy machine guns and antitank grenade launchers in the area of Opytne.

As UNIAN reported earlier the OSCE called on all parties to refrain from violence in Donbas during the New Year and Christmas holidays.
