In the Donetsk sector, the militants repeatedly attacked ATO forces near the villages of Zaitseve, Mayorsk, and Butivka coal mine. The town of Avdiyivka remains the epicenter of hostilities. "The enemy fired cannon artillery, mortars, rocket-propelled grenades and small arms 16 times on our positions there. The illegal armed groups also used heavy weapons against the local people in the so-called industrial zone. The militants are aimed to weaken the positions of our troops and spread panic among the people, accusing the Ukrainian side of neglecting the peace agreements," the press center said.
