Forty attacks were recorded in the Mariupol sector, another 19 – in the Donetsk sector, and 18 - in the Luhansk sector, according to data released by the press center of the ATO Headquarters as of 06:00 July 24. The situation was tense in Maryinka, Mariupol direction, the HQ reported.

"Here the enemy subversive groups tried twice to seize our strong points but the Ukrainian troops gave a fitting rebuff to the saboteurs. In addition, the Russian occupiers fired from 120mm mortars on Chermalyk, Hnutove, Novohryhorivka, Shyrokine, Vodiane and Starohnativka. 82mm mortars, grenade launchers, weapons installed on infantry combat vehicles, large-caliber machine guns and small arms were fired at the positions of ATO forces in Pryazovia. Russian tanks shot eight times  near Novohryhorivka," reads the statement.

The Ukrainian troops in Novoselivka Druha came under fire from three 120mm mortars, while the invaders near Luhanske used the infantry fighting vehicles, heavy machine guns and small arms.
