The industrial area in the town of Avdiyivka was the 'hottest spot' – the enemy was firing on Ukrainian defenders, using grenade launchers, machine-guns and small arms. The village of Verkhniotoretske also came under small arms fire," the update said.

Further, the enemy started to use long-range rifles in the Mariupol and Donetsk sectors. In particular, the towns of Maryinka and Avdiyivka came under sniper fire.
