Russian proxies attack Ukraine 38 times in last day
Combined Russian-separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine 38 times in the past 24 hours, including 17 in the Mariupol sector, 15 barrages in the Luhansk sector, and six in the Donetsk sector, according to the press center of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
In the Luhansk sector, the enemy resorted to armed provocations near the village of Novo-Oleksandrivka, using 82mm mortars, grenade launchers, machine guns and small arms. The militants fired 120mm mortars on the Ukrainian fortified positions in the village of Novozvanivka, as well as automatic grenade launchers in the village of Krymske. Around midnight, the enemy started firing 152mm and 122mm artillery systems on the Ukrainian positions near Novozvanivka and Novo-Oleksandrivka.

In the Mariupol sector, the occupiers fired from 82mm mortars, grenade launchers and infantry fighting vehicle on the Ukrainian fortified positions in the town of Maryinka. The enemy also opened fire from small arms near the villages of Hranitne and Pavlopil, heavy machine guns in the village of Shyrokyne, and infantry fighting vehicles near the village of Starohnativka.
