ATO HQ: Militants attack Ukraine 35 times in last day, fire heavy artillery near Vodiane
Combined Russian-separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine 35 times in the past 24 hours, according to the press service of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters.
"In the Mariupol sector, the militants attacked our positions near the towns of Maryinka and Krasnohorivka, and the villages of Hnutove and Shyrokyne. They used self-propelled artillery systems near the village of Vodiane, as well as armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles and grenade launchers on Maryinka," the report says.
A sniper was active in this area. The enemy also fired rocket-propelled grenades and small arms on the villages of Pavlopil and Vodiane.
In the Luhansk sector, Russia's hybrid military force fired mortars on the village of Novozvanivka, as well as rocket-propelled grenades on the villages of Krymske and Stanytsia Luhanska. In addition, sniper fired in Stanytsia Luhanska and the town of Schastia.
