ATO HQ: Russian proxies attack Ukraine 37 times in last day
Combined Russian-separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine 37 times in the past 24 hours, according to the press service of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters.
Most of the attacks occurred in the Mariupol sector where the militants fired heavy artillery, mortars, grenade launchers and small arms on the town of Maryinka, and the villages of Vodiane, Shyrokyne, Talakivka, Lebedynske, Pavlopil. Sniper was also active in Novotroyitske.
In the Donetsk sector, Russia's hybrid military force opened fire from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns on the town of Avdiyivka, as well as Opytne and Mayorsk.
In the Luhansk sector, the occupiers fired mortars, anti-tank missiles, grenade launchers and small arms on the villages of Novo-Oleksandrivka, Popasna, Novozvanivka and Vilkhove.
