ATO HQ update: 2 WIA, 36 militant attacks March 18
The combined Russian-separatist forces violated the ceasefire 36 times from 00:00 to 18:00 local time on Saturday, March 18, resulting in two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in action (WIA), according to the press service of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters.
In the Donetsk sector, the militants continue to fire grenade launchers of various systems and 82mm and 120mm mortars on the Ukrainian fortified positions near the town of Avdiyivka. The Russian occupation forces also used 120mm mortars near the villages of Nevelske and Luhanske, heavy machine guns near the village of Pisky, as well as small arms and grenade launchers near the village of Zaitseve.

Furthermore, the occupiers opened fire from small arms near the village of Hnutove, and infantry fighting vehicles on the village of Shyrokyne.
In the Luhansk sector, the invaders intensified shelling of the Ukrainian fortified positions near the village of Troyitske, using 120mm mortars. The Russian-backed militants also fired grenade launchers of various systems, 82mm and 120mm mortars and tank shells near the village of Krymske. Additionally, the occupiers used tripod-mounted man-portable antitank guns near the village of Triokhizbenka and the town of Popasna.
