Ukraine reports 1 WIA amid 32 enemy attacks in last day
Russia's hybrid military forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in Donbas 32 times in the past 24 hours with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action (WIA), according to the press service of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters.
The Mariupol sector remains the epicenter of hostilities. The enemy opened fire from 120mm mortars and infantry fighting vehicles on the defenders of the village of Novohryhorivka. The defenders of the village of Chermalyk came under fire from 82mm mortars, while heavy machine guns were used near the town of Maryinka. The militants also used infantry fighting vehicles, anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns against the Ukrainian Marines near the village of Vodiane. Additionally, grenade launchers of various systems and small arms were used to attack the Ukrainian soldiers deployed near the villages of Shyrokyne, Talakivka, and Pavlopil. Moreover, enemy snipers were active near the villages of Talakivka and Vodiane.
