Donbas militants attack Ukraine 25 times on April 22 – ATO HQ
Russia's hybrid military forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in Donbas 25 times on April 22 with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action (WIA), the press service of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters reports.
The Donetsk sector was the epicenter of hostilities. The enemy opened fire from 82mm mortars and infantry fighting vehicles on the Ukrainian positions near the village of Luhanske. Grenade launchers of various calibers and heavy machine guns were used to shell the defenders of the town of Avdiyivka, Butivka coal mine and the village of Kamianka. The defenders of the villages of Zaitseve and Pisky came under fire from anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms. Additionally, enemy snipers were active near Butivka coal mine.
