"They include five instances when the mercenaries were directly aiming at residential areas. Most of the attacks were mounted by the occupiers after dark," the ATO HQ said on Tuesday, June 13.

Russian proxies used proscribed 152mm artillery systems in the Mariupol sector to shell areas near the villages of Hrafske and Olhynka at the beginning of the previous day. They resorted to infantry fighting vehicles and grenade launchers to attack the town of Maryinka at about 22:00 Kyiv time on June 12. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out in a house on Zhovtneva Street. Fortunately, none of the local residents was injured.

"Yesterday, the militants used mortars of various calibers against the Ukrainian positions near the villages of Pavlopil and Chermalyk, and the town of Maryinka. In the same area, as well as near the villages of Shyrokyne, Vodiane, Talakivka, Hnutove, and Berezove, the occupiers repeatedly attacked the Ukrainian soldiers. They used grenade launchers and small arms of various calibers. In total, 27 instances of the enemy's violation of the ceasefire were recorded," the press center said.

There was a relative lull in the Donetsk sector as of 18:00 Kyiv time on that day, with only one instance of shelling reported near the village of Luhanske. However, the Russian occupation forces became much more active after dark. The heaviest enemy shelling was recorded in the southern outskirts of the town of Avdiyivka and to its east, near the village of Kamianka, where the enemy resorted to 120mm and 82mm mortars, tanks, anti-aircraft guns, and infantry weapons.

"Until midnight, the invaders, using grenade launchers and small arms of various calibers, also attempted to attack our positions near the villages of Opytne and Nevelske. They once again fired guns of infantry fighting vehicles at our fortified positions near Zaitseve. In total, the number of enemy armed provocations in this sector was 12 by the end of the day," the press center said.

Enemy fire in the Luhansk sector did not cease the whole day yesterday. Illegal armed groups opened fire 18 times on the Ukrainian positions there. In particular, the enemy fired 120mm mortars near the villages of Troyitske and Kriakivka, as well as 82mm mortars near the villages of Novotoshkivske, Katerynivka, Triokhizbenka and Novo-Oleksandrivka, and the town of Zolote. Furthermore, the occupiers used anti-tank missile systems twice near Novo-Oleksandrivka. What is more, their infantry fighting vehicles attacked the Ukrainian positions near the village of Krymske. Additionally, the Ukrainian fortified positions near the villages of Zhovte, Lobacheve, Novotoshkivske, Stanytsia Luhanska and Malynove came under fire from grenade launchers and small arms.
