In the Mariupol sector, the illegal armed groups repeatedly fired small arms on the Ukrainian positions near the villages of Hnutove and Pavlopil yesterday afternoon. In addition, they used automatic grenade launchers, small arms and 82mm mortars against the defenders of the town of Maryinka.
In the evening, the Ukrainian fortified positions near the villages of Shyrokyne and Lebedynske came under fire from grenade launchers. At the end of the day, the militants fired 82mm mortars on the Ukrainian fortified positions near Hnutove. In total, eight armed provocations were recorded in this direction yesterday.

However, the militants were significantly active after dark and more than half of all recorded attacks were carried out in this direction at the end of the day, namely 16 instances.
Starting from 20:00 Kyiv time, the invaders intensively shelled several areas of this front line. In particular, they fired 120mm mortars on the Ukrainian positions near the villages of Kriakivka and Novo-Oleksandrivka. In the same area, as well as near the town of Schastia, and the villages of Krymske and Troyitske, they used 82mm mortars. The mercenaries also opened fire from various systems of infantry weapons near the villages of Stanytsia Luhanska, Novozvanivka and Valuiske, and the town of Popasna. Moreover, the Ukrainian fortified positions near Novo-Oleksandrivka were attacked with infantry fighting vehicles and an anti-tank missile system.
