ATO report: militants increase number of attacks on Ukrainian positions
The past day in the zone of the Anti-Terrorist Operation was marked by intensified shelling of Ukrainian positions in Luhansk direction, that’s according to a report by the press center of the ATO HQ as of 06:00 July 12.
After 18:00, illegal armed formations fired at Novo-Oeksandrivka from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and 82mm mortars three times. Also, militants launched ten mines at Novotoshkovske. At about 22:00, our troops in Novozvanivka and Stanytsia Luhanska came under enemy fire from large-caliber machine guns and grenade launchers.
In the Donetsk direction at 10:00, militants fired heavy machine guns at Butivka mine, and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers, and small arms – on Avdiyivka.

Over the past day, one Ukrainian soldier suffered a fragmentation wound in a grenade shelling.
In general, on July 11, the militants used weapons 21 times. In addition, aerial reconnaissance of Ukraine’s positions was intensified in the areas of Donetsk-Slovianoserbsk and Stanytsia Luhanska, where Ukrainian military spotted the enemy’s unmanned aerial vehicles.
