Donbas militants active in Luhansk sector, use mortars, IFVs
Russia's hybrid military forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in Donbas seven times on August 9, mostly in the Luhansk sector, the press service of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters reports.
At night, the militants opened fire from 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), grenade launchers and small arms three times on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the village of Novozvanivka. In addition, the occupiers shelled the Ukrainian fortified positions near the village of Novo-Oleksandrivka three times. Furthermore, an enemy grenade launcher was used near the village of Novotoshkivske.
"Today, the Ukrainian military promptly fired back at every enemy shelling," the report says.

According to the headquarters, the leaders of the illegal armed groups make lists of persons who have been in captivity, have a criminal record or relatives in Ukraine. It is planned that these individuals will be a part of the advanced units, which will actually become "expendable materials." Moreover, some militant commanders propose to "clean up" the biography for a certain amount of money.
