"The situation in the ATO area has not changed significantly today. Traditionally, Russian-occupation forces minimize the shelling of our positions during the daytime. However, they continue to use mortars of various calibers at night," ATO HQ wrote on Facebook.

They also used a grenade launcher and an 82mm mortar near the village of Pavlopil in the Mariupol sector, while firing a mortar and grenade launcher at the Ukrainian fortified positions near the village of Nevelske in the Donetsk sector.
"ATO forces suppressed severely by targeted fire all attempts to impose on Ukrainian soldiers a long-term confrontation," the report said.
The occupiers once again jeopardized the life and health of civilians neglecting all norms of international humanitarian law. At around 05:00, the enemy shelling in the area of the ATO positions near the village of Novoluhanske in the vicinity of Svitlodarsk hit the residential areas of the village. As a result, a gas pipe and a power line pylon were damaged in a residential building. Moreover, glass was broken; walls, fence and car were showered with shrapnel. Fortunately, none resident of the house was injured.
