ATO update: hottest spot in Avdiyivka’s industrial zone, 3 WIA reported
At the end of the past day, the situation in the zone of the Anti-Terrorist Operation has not changed significantly. Russian-occupation forces continued violations of ceasefire, using mainly grenade launchers and small arms, that’s according to the press center of the ATO Headquarters.
The epicenter of confrontation remains the so-called “Promzona,” the industrial area on the outskirts of Avdiyivka. After 18:00 on Friday, the militants fired at Ukrainian positions thrice from mortars of various calibers, a tank, and grenade launchers. The Ukrainian troops did not hesitate to return fire and were able to suppress the enemy. In one of such shootouts, a Ukrainian soldier was wounded.
In the Mariupol direction, for almost an hour militants hammered Ukrainian fortified positions from 82mm mortar and large-caliber machine guns on the outskirts of Chermalyk.
At the end of the day, Ukrainian positions near Pavlopil, Lebedynske, and Shyrokine also came under enemy fire. As a result of the shelling of Ukrainian strongholds in the area of Vodiane, another Ukrainian defender was wounded.

In general, over the past day, illegal armed groups violated ceasefire 25 times.
Three Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in action.
As UNIAN reported earlier, pro-Russian gangs once again fired at residential areas of Zaitseve, using small arms.
