"School-year ceasefire": Donbas militants attack Ukraine 35 times in last day

Russia's hybrid military forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in Donbas 35 times in the past 24 hours, according to the press service of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters.

The largest number of enemy attacks was recorded in the Mariupol sector in the evening and at night. Here, the occupiers fired heavy machine guns six times on the Ukrainian fortified positions near the village of Vodiane. In addition, short-term fire provocations were recorded near the villages of Shyrokyne and Pavlopil.

Moreover, the Ukrainian fortified positions near the village of Zaitseve came under enemy fire from small arms several times. The Ukrainian military fired back twice.

Only one enemy shelling was recorded in the Luhansk sector in the past day. The invaders were firing from small arms for several minutes near the village of Stanytsia Luhanska.

There were no killed and wounded in action in the past day, the ATO HQ said.
