Ukraine reports 1 WIA amid 30 enemy attacks in last day
Russia's hybrid military forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in Donbas 30 times in the past 24 hours, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action (WIA), according to the press service of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters.
The situation in the ATO area somewhat escalated last night, when the enemy was more active in the Luhansk sector.
The militants opened fire four times from grenade launchers and heavy machine guns on the Ukrainian fortified positions near the village of Krymske after 18:00. Moreover, they fired over sixty 82mm mortar rounds on our positions there.

In the evening, the occupiers released thirty-five 82mm mortar shells on the ATO strongholds near the village of Novotoshkivske.
In the Donetsk sector, the militants fired mortars and heavy machine guns near the town of Avdiyivka three times. The Ukrainian position came under the mortar shelling near the village of Pisky, while the enemy used grenade launchers near the town of Svitlodarsk.
In the Mariupol sector, the illegal armed formations attacked the Ukrainian strong points near the village of Vodiane, using mortars and grenade launchers.
In general, the militants used 82mm mortars nine times in the past 24 hours.
The ATO forces opened return fire to every second enemy's attack.
