Donbas militants intensify attacks, Ukraine’s forces return fire: ATO report
The end of the last day in the zone of the Anti-Terrorist Operation was marked with an increase in the number of shellings of Ukrainian positions by Russian-occupation forces, the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation headquarters reports.
While the enemy adhered to the ceasefire in the daytime, after 18:00 the enemy resorted to armed provocations in the Primorsk and Donetsk directions.
"In the evening hours and overnight, militants fired four times from various types of grenade launchers, machine guns and small arms at our fortified positions near Avdiyivka’s industrial zone. Ukrainian defenders strongly repulsed [the attacks]. In addition, the enemy used IFV-installed weapons near Novoselivka (Druha) and Maiorsk," the report said.
