Ukraine reports 44 enemy attacks, 2 KIAs, 4 WIAs in last day
Russia's hybrid military forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in Donbas 44 times in the past 24 hours, with two Ukrainian soldiers reported as killed in action (KIA) and four troops wounded in action (WIA), according to the press service of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters.
In the evening hours of Tuesday, militants had been firing grenade launchers and heavy machine guns on the Ukrainian fortified positions near the town of Avdiyivka, Butivka coal mine, and the villages of Novoselivka Druha, Troyitske and Maiorsk.
The enemy also engaged the Ukrainian forces from small arms several times near the villages of Pisky and Kamianka. At about 18:00 Kyiv time, one Ukrainian soldier was killed in a mortar shelling outside the village of Zaitseve.
