Mortar shellings and UAVs: Donbas militants violate ceasefire 18 times in last day
Russia's hybrid military forces continued to attack the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the past 24 hours, employing weapons banned by the Minsk agreements, according to the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters.
The enemy carried out seven mortar attacks against the Ukrainian fortified positions and launched nearly 50 mines, the report says.
"In the Luhansk sector, the situation was most tense at the Svitlodarska Duha bulge, where the enemy repeatedly opened fire from 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers, anti-aircraft guns and infantry fighting vehicles on the defenders of the village of Luhanske, as well as from small arms near the village of Novoluhanske. The occupiers also lobbed several 82mm mines near the village of Novotoshkivske. Moreover, they used grenade launchers against the Ukrainian fortified positions near the villages of Troyitske and Novozvanivka, while the defenders of the village of Stanytsia Luhanska were attacked with small arms," the press center reports.

"The flight of an enemy UAV, banned by the Minsk agreements, was recorded near the villages of Zaitseve, Travneve and Hladosove. In general, the occupiers violated the ceasefire 18 times in the past day. None of Ukrainian soldiers were killed or wounded in action as a result of enemy attacks," the ATO HQ said.
