Ukraine has reported one enemy provocation on Monday, August 10, as Russia's hybrid military forces violated the newly-agreed truce in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.
"One enemy provocation with the use of rifles was recorded near the town of Krasnohorivka. An isolated random shot posed no threat to life and health, so our soldiers did not return fire," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in a Facebook update as of 07:00 Kyiv time on August 11, 2020.
The Joint Forces were abiding by the ceasefire, being ready to adequately respond to possible attacks by the adversary, it said.
No Ukrainian army casualties were reported over the past day.
Since Tuesday midnight, no attacks by Russian Federation's armed formations have been recorded, the JFO HQ said.
The situation is under full control of the Ukrainian military.
- Participants in the Trilateral Contact Group (Ukraine, Russia, and the OSCE) on the peace settlement in Donbas on July 22 agreed on a full and comprehensive ceasefire along the contact line from 00:01 on Monday, July 27.
