Ukraine has reported two enemy provocations on Sunday, August 2 as Russia's hybrid military forces twice violated the newly-agreed truce in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.

"At first, enemy troops launched a grenade using an under-barrel launcher near the village of Pivdenne. In 15 minutes, they went for the same kind of provocation outside Krasnohorivka. Realizing the enemy's true insidious intentions and provocative tactics, the Ukrainian soldiers didn't return fire. There have been no casualties among our defenders," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in a Facebook update as of 07:00 Kyiv time on August 3, 2020.

Since Monday midnight, no attacks by Russian Federation's armed formations have been recorded, the JFO HQ said.

It is also noted 1,247 civilians arrived in the territory controlled by the Joint Forces through the Stanytsia Luhanska entry and exit checkpoint, as well as 739 civilians crossed in the opposite direction. The Maryinka and Novotroyitske checkpoints did not operate due to the occupiers' actions.
