Russia's hybrid military forces on July 7 mounted 13 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with four members of the Joint Forces reported as wounded in action.

"The Russian Federation's armed formations violated the ceasefire 13 times on July 7," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation Headquarters said on Facebook in an update as of 07:00 Kyiv time on July 8. "As a result, four servicemen of the Joint Forces were wounded in enemy shelling."

Russian-led forces opened fire from proscribed 122mm artillery systems, 120mm and 82mm mortars, cannons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, anti-tank missile systems, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, sniper rifles, and small arms.

Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the towns of Maryinka and Avdiyivka, and the villages of Novotoshkivske, Novoluhanske, Orikhove, Starohnativka, Vodiane, Shyrokyne, Pisky, Bohdanivka, and Pavlopil

The Joint Forces returned fire to each enemy attack.

"Since Wednesday midnight, Russia-led forces have attacked Ukrainian positions six times near Maryinka and Avdiyivka, and the villages of Khutir Vilny and Orikhove, using 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and rifles," the update said.

No casualties have been reported among Ukrainian troops since Wednesday midnight.
