Representative of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Defense Intelligence Vadym Skibitsky says Russia has been building up its strike force around Ukraine.

He announced this on Ukraine's Military TV channel, the agency said on its website on April 12.

Skibitsky recalls Ukraine's military intelligence observed such movements in 2014-2015, after which Russia made a direct incursion into Ukraine's territory.

Russian troops amassing along Ukraine's borders
