Ukraine reported four incidents on Friday, July 31, when Russia's hybrid military forces violated the newly-agreed truce in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.

"The Russian Federation's armed formations violated the ceasefire four times in the past day," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in a Facebook update as of 07:00 Kyiv time on August 1, 2020.

In particular, Russia-led forces opened fire from automatic grenade launchers and small arms near the villages of Vodiane, Pivdenne and Luhanske.

"Isolated random shots did not pose a threat to life and health, so our soldiers did not fire back. The Joint Forces complied with the ceasefire and were ready to adequately respond to possible insidious actions by the enemy," reads the report.

There were no casualties among the Ukrainian soldiers in the past day.

Since Saturday midnight, no attacks by Russian Federation's armed formations have been recorded, the JFO HQ said.
