Russia's hybrid military forces on June 21 mounted 10 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with one member of the Joint Forces reported as wounded in action.

"The Russian Federation's armed formations violated the ceasefire 10 times in the past day," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation Headquarters said on Facebook in an update as of 07:00 Kyiv time on June 22. "As a result, a Joint Forces serviceman was wounded in enemy shelling."

Russian-led forces fired proscribed 120mm and 82mm mortars, guns installed on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various types, anti-tank missile systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms.

Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the town of Avdiyivka and the villages of Krymske, Zalizne, Shumy, Novotoshkivske, Starohnativka, and Berdianske.

Joint Forces returned fire to each enemy attack. Enemy losses are being verified.

"Since Monday midnight, Russia-led forces have attacked Ukrainian positions seven times near the town of Popasna, and the villages of Khutir Vilny, Novotoshkivske, Orikhove, and Holubivske, using 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and rifles. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded," the update said.
