President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky says he is sure that during his tenure he will be able to end the war in Ukraine's east.
The statement was voiced in the documentary "The Year of President Zelensky" aired on Ukraine 24 TV channel.

"I am sure that during my tenure, we will end this war. I'm personally confident. I said I was ready to wait one year, ready to work for one year. If the Minsk process [of Donbas settlement] doesn't work, then we will change tactics. We're ready for this – the year hasn't passed yet though," Zelensky said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Zelensky said work was ongoing on new sites for disengagement of forces in Donbas toward achieving peace in eastern Ukraine.
