The Supreme Court of the Czech Republic has liquidated the so-called "DPR [Donetsk People's Republic] Representative Center" in the city of Ostrava, Ukrainian Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Yevhen Perebeynis wrote on Twitter.

"The fake 'representative office' of the Russian occupation administration in Donbas has finally been liquidated in the Czech city of Ostrava. Today, the Czech Supreme Court confirmed last year's decision of the Ostrava court on the illegality of activities and liquidation of this 'organization'," the envoy wrote.

As UNIAN reported, on September 1, 2016, representatives of the "DPR" terrorist organizations staged in Ostrava the opening of their "representative center," which they called "their first diplomatic institution" in Europe.

Czech diplomats then reported they would seek liquidation of the organization in court.

In June 2017, the court of the city of Ostrava liquidated the so-called "DPR Representation" branding it an illegal organization.
