According to Hahn, Brussels will also continue to support reforms in the region, and will allocate EUR 600 million from the EU’s Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance funds in 2014-2020.

Stabilisation and Association agreements are part of the EU Stabilisation and Association Process and the European Neighbourhood Policy.

The EU and Kosovo started negotiations on their agreement in October 2013, and initialed the agreement in July 2014.
