Ukraine, Croatia broaden ties
Two coutnries` PMs discussed cooperation
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Yekhanurov held a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Ivo Sanader, according to the press-service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
During the meeting the heads of governments of Ukraine and Croatia discussed key directions of bilateral cooperation. In particular, high growth rate of foreign trade turnover in goods and services between Ukraine and Croatia have been discussed, which increased over the first three months of 2006 by 60% as compared with 2005.
The sides have considered the opportunity to export the Ukrainian electric power to the Balkan countries. Besides, the issue on eventual Ukraine’s accedence to the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) has been discussed in view of its enlargement.
