US impose sanctions against Azarov, Arbuzov and leaders of militants

A total of 14 names and the two organizations were added into the list, according to the Web site of the U.S. Treasury.

The list includes former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov, former Acting Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov, former Health Minister Raisa Bohatyriova, the leader of the Vostok militant battalion Oleksandr Khodakovskiy and Yekateryna Hubareva, the wife of the leader of the "Novorossia" party Pavlo Hubarev.

The organizations added to the blacklist were the Eurasian Youth Union and the Russian National Commercial Bank.

One of the Russians sanctioned was Alexander Dugin, a Russian nationalist thought to have the ear of the Kremlin.
