Australian TV to broadcast daily program about Ukraine to counteract Russian propaganda
Agreements were made to broadcast 30-minute English-language programs.
Australian TV channels have agreed to broadcast daily English-language programs about Ukraine to counteract Russian propaganda.
Chairman of the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations Stefan Romaniw said in a commentary to Ukrainian Diaspora media portal VIDIA.
Not many details are known about the programs, though there are agreements that these will be 30-minute English-language programs.
In the next two weeks, a delegation of the Ukrainian Diaspora from Australia will hold a number of meetings with Ukrainian officials and representatives of the Ukrainian presidential administration to find ways to counteract Russian propaganda.
It's not excluded that programs produced by Ukraine Today TV Channel or any other channel may be broadcast on Australian TV, VIDIA wrote.
