In Britain for a meeting of NATO, Trump said, according to Reuters. "I have to say this, Russia wants to make a deal on arms control ... Russia wants to make a deal as recently as, like, two weeks ago. Russia wants very much to make a deal on arms control and nuclear."
"We'll also certainly bring in ... China. We may bring them in later, or we may bring them in now," the U.S. president said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Jens Stoltenberg and heads of state and government of the Alliance member states in London were set to discuss the situation in Ukraine and efforts to implement the Minsk agreements.
"I am certain that also the situation in Ukraine and the efforts to implement the Minsk agreements will be part of the discussions in London. We welcome the efforts of Allies and the Normandy Format to try to make progress," Stoltenberg said at a press conference ahead of the Leaders' Meeting in London on December 3 and December 4.
