Ukraine and Egypt sign agreement on cooperation in space exploration
The agreement will remain in force for 10 years
At presence of President Victor Yushchenko and Prime Minister of Egypt Ahmed Nazif, Ukraine and Egypt signed an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in space exploration. According to the President`s press-office, the signatories of the document were Director General of Ukrainian National Space Agency Yuriy Alekseev and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Egypt Hany Mahfouz Helal.
The agreement will remain in force for 10 years and foresees such directions of cooperation as planning and realization of joint space projects, scientific programs, exchange of technical and scientific data, etc.
