President welcomes WTO Protocol ratification

In his today’s interview to journalists in Egypt President Victor Yushchenko said that he is pleased about Verkhovna Rada having ratified the Protocol on Ukraine’s membership in the WTO, according to the President`s press-office.

“Thus, as for today, Ukraine has come through all formalities in order to achieve membership in the WTO”, - he said.

Victor Yushchenko also expressed pleasure that the deputies showed consolidation about the decision. “I wish that the Ukrainian Parliament was in the same way unified about all other questions of national interests”, - he added.
