Ukraine to take part in NATO's largest ever military exercises
Ukraine will participate in NATO's largest military exercises for over a decade later this year, according to Yehor Bozhok, acting head of Ukraine's mission to the U.S.-led alliance, Ukraine Today reports citing his interview with Ukrinform news agency.
Military transport aircraft and some other defense components, depending on the situation in Donbas, will be involved in drills that will host 36,000 troops from 30 NATO member states and partner countries, Ukraine Today has reported.
Trident Juncture 2015 drills include live fire exercises throughout Germany, the Mediterranean, Canada and Norway among others, in NATo’s efforts to demonstrate its new increased capabilities to meet future security challenges.
