Polish border guards mistakenly allowed the so-called 'vice-premiere' of Ukraine's Crimea peninsula, Dmitry Polonsky, to attend a conference of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe held in Warsaw, due to a spelling error in his passport, according to Ukraine Today.

European Union member states do not recognise Russia's March 2014 illegal annexation of Crimea and have imposed sanctions on the Kremlin's local puppet authorities, Ukraine Today reports.
