Chinese state media says that 10,000 people are buried in rubble in Mianzhu near the epicenter of the massive earthquake that struck the country, according to AP.
The official Xinhua News Agency said Tuesday that local officials in the city said the people "remain buried," a day after a 7.9-magnitude quake. They gave no other details.
Mianzhu is 60 miles from the quake`s epicenter of Wenchuan.
