Russia seals deal with Iran on S-300 supply
Russia has signed a new contract with Iran for delivery of the S-300 air defense missile systems, said Sergey Chemezov, chairman of state corporation Rostec, at Dubai Airshow 2015, according to Lenta.ru.
Chemezov also noted that after shipment of the first batch of the equipment, Russia expects the withdrawal of claim Iran had filed earlier and settlement of all disputes.
However, Rostec's chief declined to specify a model of the air defense missile system to be supplied. Earlier it was reported that Iran would receive models of the S-300 system (PMU1 or PMU2) or the S-300V system (S-300VM "Antey-2500").
